Our hospital's intensive care unit consists of General Intensive Care beds, Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care beds, Cardiology Intensive Care beds, and Pediatric Intensive Care beds. Each section is equipped with state-of-the-art devices for monitoring various bodily functions (EKG, respiratory rate, invasive and non-invasive pressure measurement, saturation, body temperature, etc.). The units are equipped with mechanical ventilators (artificial respiration devices), pulse oximeters, and infusion pumps.
In both sections, there are central oxygen and air outlets, laminar flow air conditioning, a special ventilation system with HEPA filters, air mattresses, and aspirator systems. In today's medical practice, admitting the patient to the intensive care unit as early as possible after the initial intervention in cases of severe injury and emergencies increases the chances of survival. Early admission also helps prevent potential functional impairments, reducing the risk of permanent disability.
Our intensive care unit is staffed with a team of expert doctors and experienced intensive care nurses, providing services 24 hours a day.
